<h3 style="color:#00345C;">Who is present during the FunLab research session?</h3>

<p>Often your child/children, family or a group of friends will be the only respondents present for the research session. However, we may group respondents together who may not necessarily know each other. We will notify you in instances should this happen. There may also be occasions when a member of the Team may be present to assist in the product functionality or demonstration of the product(s) under review along with the moderator. You may notice a large mirror in the FunLab room – behind the mirror is our FunLab viewing room, where our designers, marketing professionals, engineers and other Team members are able to see the FunLab room and observe the reactions and play habits of the respondents. The moderator will be able to let you know if anyone is present in the viewing room before the session begins – please feel free to ask questions.</p>

<h3 style="color:#00345C;">What will I need to bring to my FunLab session?</h3>

<p>You will be asked to print, sign and bring along a copy of the Participation Waiver Form when you participate in a FunLab session. A Participation Waiver Form is required to be completed and signed for every participant. If you are bringing a child to the FunLab on behalf of his/her parent, the Participation Waiver Form will need to be completed and signed by the child’s OWN PARENT in advance. For Legal reasons, we cannot allow anyone to participate in a FunLab session who does not have a completed Participation Waiver Form. A copy of the Participation Waiver Form can be downloaded and printed <a href="https://assets-us-01.kc-usercontent.com/500e0a65-283d-00ef-33b2-7f1f20488fe2/2b8727dc-10b4-4f02-b570-b10391038ff3/FunlabParticipationWaiverAndConsent-2022.pdf" class="faq-consent-2022-link" download target="_blank" >here</a>. Other than the Participation Waiver Form, you will be informed of any additional information that will be required for the project you will be participating in. Due to Covid-19, if your session is on-site at the Funlab facility, you will also be asked to bring a copy of the Covid-19 Waiver and Release as well as the Covid-19 questionnaire. These will be provided to you by Funlab staff prior to your session and must be signed on the DAY OF your session.</p>

<h3 style="color:#00345C;">Why do I need to sign Hasbro’s Participation Waiver Form?</h3>

<p>The Participation Waiver Form, available <a href="https://assets-us-01.kc-usercontent.com/500e0a65-283d-00ef-33b2-7f1f20488fe2/2b8727dc-10b4-4f02-b570-b10391038ff3/FunlabParticipationWaiverAndConsent-2022.pdf" class="faq-consent-2022-link" download target="_blank" >here</a>, is designed to protect you ‘the respondent’ as well as Hasbro ‘the Company’. You should review the form carefully before signing. It covers the following areas:</p>

<ul><li>Permission for you and/or your child to participate in the research. We need the permission from the individual if over 18 years of age, or from the parent or guardian of any child under 18 years of age. The registration process cannot be completed by the adult/chaperone bringing someone else’s child to a session.</li>

<li>Data collection and use. Please visit our <a href="/faq#privacy" class="faq-privacy-link">Privacy</a> section (below) for more information.</li>

<li>Permission to film the session.</li>

<li>Confidentiality.</li>

<li>Your disclosure of opinions, suggestions, ideas, concept and general feedback.</li></ul>

<p>By registering to become a panelist for the FunLab, you are granting us authorization and permission as outlined above.</p>

<h3 style="color:#00345C;">Will we be videotaped?</h3>

<p>All FunLab sessions are recorded – these will be kept for reference and used to aid in the write up of the research results (the footage will not be used in any TV, radio or print advertising). Some sessions may be streamed over Hasbro’s Intranet (which is only accessible by Hasbro employees and authorized personnel) to Hasbro’s other global offices (i.e. London, England; Hong Kong) for our colleagues to observe. DVD or digital copies may also occasionally be sent to our global offices. Footage can only be viewed by Hasbro employees or authorized personnel. If you have any concerns about the recording and/or streaming of these sessions, please contact us in advance of the session.</p>

<h3 style="color:#005EB8;">I have agreed to attend a session but now I cannot attend; what do I do?</h3>

<p>A lot of planning and preparation goes into each FunLab research session and non-attendance without prior notice can be a major inconvenience. We request that you PLEASE let us know if you are no longer able to attend a session or if there may be a chance that you cannot make your scheduled session. We understand things do come up at the last minute, but we would like for you to make every effort to attend your scheduled session. If you are unable to attend your session, please contact us either via phone at <a href="tel:1-800-242-7276 x5918" class="faq-tel-link">1-800-242-7276 x5918</a> or email <a href="mailto:funlab@hasbro.com" class="faq-email-link">funlab@hasbro.com</a> to let us know you cannot attend, would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<h3 style="color:#00345C;">I have become delayed on my way to the FunLab, how can I contact you?</h3>

<p>Included in your confirmation, which is sent via email, are contact details should you need to use in case of emergencies. Depending on the nature of the research schedule that day, becoming delayed on your way to the FunLab may result in your not being able to participate in your scheduled session. Please give us as much warning as possible if you become delayed. Additionally, please give yourself ample travel time to the FunLab.</p>
